Tons of food trucks
The Komodo Truck's newer, more simple menu for lunch. Not bad, but still short of amazing. They're innovative at least.
Sawtelle Blvd. for dinner turned out to be PACKED with food trucks. I expected one, or two, or maybe three. Instead?
SIX. I came for Lomo Arigato (Peruvian) and maybe Takoyaki Tanota (Japanese seafood balls), which I both ate. Former-- pretty good but again, not amazing. The latter-- not as good as I was hoping. Add in Dumpling Station, Phamish, Frysmith, and World Fare.
Insane, I tell you. I wonder how the local restaurants stay in business.
To compensate for eating way, way, too much, I walked home, and explored the pedestrian underpass under Olympic Blvd. They're in surprisingly good shape and still fairly well maintained, although I wouldn't go in one again-- it smelled like pee, and I had to shower as soon as I got home-- it reeked that bad.
