Europe 2009
United Kingdom, Greece, Denmark, Sweden
First up, a little over three days in London to meet up with Sam and see some of the sights I'd skipped previously. I wish I could have seen all of the ones I'd skipped, but I'd need a lot longer than 3 days to do that-- more like three months!
Kim arrived on the third day in London, then off to Greece the next day. Bummed around Athens for a little over a day before flying to Hania (aka Chania or Xania) on the island of Crete to meet up with the month-long class on Greece that Kim had signed up with run by Austin Peay State University. 10 days with Professor Winters and the class on Crete learning Greek archaeology and modern Greek, including a hike of Samaria Gorge: definitely an experience I'm glad I could have been a part of!
Then off to Copenhagen (Denmark) to meet up with Amit, who was studying abroad for his MBA at the Copenhagen School of Business. We did a quick side trip to Malmoe in Sweden too, then all too soon the trip was over and it was back to Heathrow and back to the USA.
