Brian's Birthday
Dinner at Honda-Ya, then karaoke at Max Karaoke... nice and simple, right?
Well, aside from people running late, and the experienced Honda-Ya eaters not showing up til late (we were informed we should have ordered about 40 appetizers and no meals, oops!)... and, yeah, some other SNAFU's, but not a big deal. Was still fun. =) Bunch of people had to leave early too, but that sort of worked out since the karaoke room filled up by the end of the night!
Butchered quite a variety of music at Max Karaoke too, although since they don't serve alcohol there, we were far, far too sober. Or at least I was! Songs butchered included Don't Stop, Jack and Diane, Say It Ain't So (Weezer), plenty of New Order and U2, Be Still My Heart (Postal Service); quite a variety!
The birthday gift that was an empty box with pictures of the gift was a nice touch, too. hehe. T'is good to have friends who care! =)
