Movie night and Dim sum
Movie night (part 3?) at Joycelyn's, then dim sum the next morning at Capital Seafood.
I think I missed one or two of Joyce's movie nights (I made one last summer?), so I don't remember what's been watched at all of them... but this time was Jurassic Park and then Office Space. Quite a bit more mainstream than the old B&W stuff at the other movie night I was at. :-p
Had yummy homemade lasanga, cake, beer, wine, a variety plate of snacks, edemame... about the only thing that didn't get touched was the Stoli Blueberry that Pearl brought! Probably a good thing since most of us had to drive home. *grins*
I'd name names, but I think I've (already!) forgotten most of them. =(
Next morning, dim sum at Capital Seafood with Pearl, Jeff, Thomas, Bill and Annie, Dan, and myself. We could have gone somewhere else-- New Capital Seafood, Mission 261, Sea Harbour, 888 Seafood, Empress Harbour, or Ocean Star come to mind-- but we wanted the baked almond milk things. Or at least I wanted them again. YUM.
