Pearl's Birthday
Pearl's birthday at Shin-Sen-Gumi Yakatori, then Bayside Karaoke... and for the crazy nuts, Denny's afterwards for a post-time-change snack with the slowest service ever.
A deluge of people came from Pearl's work, including Charles, both Dani's, Simon, and about a zillion names I can't remember. The gaggle of HS/college (mostly college) friends, including myself, Jenn, Sophia and Justin, Dennis, Carley, Julie, plus a few others such as Bill, Brett, and a few others.
We went through a ton of food, including huge shrimp, lots of Okinawan "Orion" brand beer, and LOTS of tasty things, then off to sing karaoke, complete with more alcohol, including Patron shots. Thankfully no one spilled on the anciet harddisk the karaoke place had sitting on top of their equipment (aka wtf??). The graphics at the karaoke place were also... interesting throwbacks to the days of EGA graphics. o_0
Sadly by the time it was 3:30am or so and we made it over to Denny's for the usual slowest service ever, we were fewer in number and pretty tired. 5am or so by the time most of us started thinking about heading home!
