Jenn's Birthday
First few pictures are actually from dinner with Leif-Eric and Eun-young at Souplantation in Brentwood. Random place, I know, but people said they had coupons... that was fun, although traffic killed us that night. One of Sophia's friends came, and he somehow ended up at Souplantation in Beverly Center or Marina Del Ray or something............ but he made it in the end!!
Jenn's birthday. Which Jenn? Pearl/Frances' Jenn... yeah, I know, if I said Pearl's friend Jenn, it still wouldn't make any sense!
Jenn's birthday was actually the next night, at Curry House in West LA.
(I am not yet skilled to show up to two dinners at once the same night... not yet, anyway. Apologies for any confusion.)
Actually got Pearl to show up (!), and something that should not have surprised me at all was we had a group large enough to completely fill the rear area of the restaurant. Impressive! I don't think we've done that to Curry House in a few years!
Drunkness was rumored to be involved afterwards, but some of us had to bail-- myself included. Plans the next morning interfered. Gah! I heard it was fun, but never did hear any confirmation of that fact. It is known that Frances and Patrick cycled there and back, hopefully they didn't get caught for biking under the influence? The couple sitting across the table from Pearl and I were definitely on their way to intoxication during dinner, which boded well for the rest of the night!
