South Korea/China: PVG-ICN-LAX
aka, back to Los Angeles.
Coconut tart for breakfast, then a long taxi ride to the airport. Cost was RMB120 or so, which really wasn't bad considering it was rush hour. Freeways actually looked pretty empty once we got away from the downtown corridor.
Discovered lots of Lego exhibits while we were waiting, which made for lots of photo opportunities.
Did PVG-ICN in an older 777, then ICN-LAX in another 777. Pretty pleasant flight all around, just long. Food on Asiana is very good for airline food, with much more variety than Malaysia Air.
Needless to say, 12 hours in an airplane is still long, and after 2 weeks in Asia, as soon as I got back to Westwood, I went to Lamonica's for pizza before heading straight into the office.
