Cecile's Birthday
Plus a few other, random pictures: lunch with coworkers for the first two pictures, the random $*@(! moving truck blocking my apartment's driveway in the third to last picture, then random pictures heading down 405 and one of hawaiian BBQ for lunch.
The bulk of the pictures are Cecile's birthday. She had a pretty large crowd-- two-third of one of the large back rooms at Cozymel's in El Segundo, maybe 30 people? The truly bizarre coincidence was that in the other third of the room was Pearl and her coworkers for their own little party. Crazy.
Met lots of people whose names I have since forgotten. (did anyone want to help me out here?) Lots of food, lots of margaritas, lots of dessert. The quality of the food was only okay*, but the company was great! We headed over to the waterfront in Manhattan Beach afterwards to hit the bars before finally breaking down and going home. I did try to find Pearl and her coworkers at a karaoke bar later, but the name of the place was common enough that google-fu on a cell phone failed me!
e.g. the dessert sampler had 5 desserts... 2 of them tasted the same! =(
