Bej and Sophia's Birthday
Nothing too extraordinary, just a gathering of friends to celebrate the passing of years...
hah! riiight...
Quite a few people headed down from LA: Erik and Mary, Bill and Annie, Sophia and Justin, Grace, Tara, Eugene, Heather, Mike and Emily...
We did the usual: video games, Texas Hold'em, dinner, and I think some drinking snuck in there, too. We watched Bej and Weixian's dwarf hamsters roll around in their little balls, and again, thought about but never did make it to the beach. It turns out it was overcast and in the mid-60s, which isn't exactly ideal beach weather.
We also had Bej give us semi-drunken directions from Macaroni Grill back to his and Weixian's place, where rumor has it some more drinking and some Guitar Hero 2 commenced. Super Monkey Ball was also pretty fun!
