Moving, food, food...
So Dong Kong tofu house in Koreatown, off the SW corner of Olympic and Vermont. Way better than BCD, although I admit I am not a real expert here. Frances and Patrick had been bugging me to take them there for a while, since all they know is BCD. Took a few pictures from Patrick's soon-to-be former place south of Beverly Center, too. Snuck in some pearl tea at Cup o' Joy near USC, too. Pretty average by my standards, but given that pearl tea in Koreatown or near USC is either hideously expensive, horrible, or sometimes both, this wasn't too bad.
Then helping Pearl move all the rest of her stuff the next day. Holy crap, I don't know how that all fit into her apartment!
Sunday morning was dim sum at Empress Harbour, aka the "fancy" place we go to when we want nicer stuff. It was indeed highly delicious. Supposedly Sea Harbour, Mission 261, and Triumphal Palace are better, but those three places lack carts, and having been to Mission 261, I don't think they're worth the trouble... Emperess Harbour or Capitol Seafood are tasty enough.
A side note: we need at least 4 people for dim sum. If someone had been able to drag herself free that morning instead of going to the Petexpo, we could have used the extra stomach!
