Christmas 2006
Christmas with family, including cousin Kristen on a sushi-making binge. The younger cousins did their thing, while the rest of us ate and chatted. Now that the older cousins (such as myself) have been moved out for a few years, things are definitely different around home.
Christmas Eve dessert at the Melins, hence the massive tree, the familiar presence of Sherman the wonder(ously lazy) dog, a quick stop in Saratoga to check out the reindeer pulling the house.
More eating with the Kongs, plus an impressive display of cognac, then some Wii gaming at Constant's parents' place late that night. Even dragged the sleepyhead named Erik out for that!
Then... the catastrophe that was the Emerald Bowl. After a stunning victory against USC, we fell apart (which has been our usual playing style the last few years) against Florida State.
