Food pictures
Ok, a lot more than that this weekend-- including a trip to the Ahmanson to see The Importance of Being Ernest-- but the only things that seemed to have gotten photographed were meals.
First three pictures are from dinner with Eileen and her friends at California Roll Factory. Lots of very creative sushi rolls available, and pretty tasty.
Fourth picture is from Baccali Cafe, although the photographer clearly did not do a good job. =P
Remainder of the pictures are from Mission 261, a fairly recent dim sum restaurant in San Gabriel. Unlike the more typical places where they push carts around the tables, Mission 261 has you order everything off of menus and they make it to order. Felt very classy and the dim sum was excellent. A bit pricey, but tasty. (whether or not it's worth it is hard to say, since I was rather hungry!). Credit goes to Steve for an excellent pick.
Afterwards we headed to a Tapioca Express down the street for pearl tea and to continue chatting. That was less than satisfactory-- the Tapioca Express on Valley and Garfield is much better. We compensated by having lots of fun with the camera instead. Actually, I think people had more fun hiding from the camera...
Now only if my memory for names wasn't so horrible...
