New Year's Eve 2005
Held at the usual Los Angeles location, aka Mike/Chris/Henri's. aka, difficult to find parking, not so easy to find the building inside the complex, but definitely a damned nice place to party once you get inside!
Dinner beforehand was Alicia, Joel, Corinne, and myself at C&O. Very yummy, and amazingly, not packed at all.
After traveling entirely too far to find parking, we somehow found the right place, and were invited into the party, where we were greeted by friends, foosball, poker, DDR, and a very well stocked bar. (well, except for a corkscrew. ooops!) Good times awaited!
Listing everyone who attended is impossible for someone with a memory that doesn't retain names very well, but rest assured that the usual suspects were there, plus quite a few new faces. If it reeked of Bruins inside, that's because it was. =) Sophia and Justin, Carley, Grace and Kevin, both of Grace's sisters (Susan and Jennifer), Bej, Mike, Chris, Henri, Emily... even Bill and Annie showed up after discovering that Giant was cancelled! Notable absences included Tara, Heather, Camille and Francis, etc.
In addition to the photo wall, the new game for the night was re-enacting movie scenes. Props were provided. Unfortunately, it would seem we had too much fun with Karaoke Revolution, Dance Dance Revolution, and general drinking to get too excited about it. Oops!
