Ars Meet: Labor Day 2005

Thread was kind enough to have us over to his place in San Jose for a big Labor Day weekend meet. Lots of BBQ, a little LANing, some t-shirt silkscreening, and lots of fun.

PG&E is going to love Thread this month. *grins*
Much of the usual NorCal group showed up: Paul Bartz, doraemon, Daristar, greatoz, and myself from the old school... Akatombo, Lechtansi, anuj, and others who are just about as old school... and everyone else, who comes to make these meets worthwhile! A few losers didn't make it... STi Sev among them, ravemonger, WyldKard, lessthanjoey, etc.
Things ran for a little over 9 hours... from setup to clean-up. LAN'ing was secondary to the food and socializing, although KitanaOR cleaned everyone up in Serious Sam 2. Old Macs were supposed to be a showcase, but we were too distracted by Thread's flat-screen (plasma? LCD?) 50" TV and his 30" Apple Cinema Display. Plus his AirTunes and outdoor speakers. Sweet!!!
