UCLA Commencement 2005
Annie's graduation, the massive political science spectacle held in Pauley Pavilion, followed by the Asian Pacific Islander Graduation (APIG).
Careful plotting to arrive a little late failed miserably on my part, so the picture collection is less than great. One of Sophia's friends, Diana Li, sang the national anthem, which was very cool. Throw in a few zillion pictures afterwards, as all of the immediate Tsai family was present, along with one uncle and a bunch of friends.
Lunch afterwards was at Royal Star Seafood, down Wilshire. More pictures followed, although the group was slightly smaller than expected due to Father's Day being the same day.
APIG was a bit strange compared to previous years. In 2003 and 2004, we knew plenty of people graduating. This year, Barry and I only knew a handful. . . and next year will probably be almost no one! Still, dedicated though they are, quite a few of Barry's fellow Lambda Phi Epsilon brothers showed up.
