Thomas's Birthday, Skiing, etc.
woohoo! Thomas's second birthday meal, this time with Kevin, Viet, Maggie, Joyce, and myself at Korean BBQ. Very tasty. We ate for 2 hours straight. Or was it longer?
We were very stuffed. Naturally we went to Guppy afterwards for more snacks. *sigh* It was good to catch up with Kevin and Thomas, particularly since I don't see either one of them very often. Smelling like Korean BBQ all day was a small sacrifice to make. =P
The following Saturday was a day trip out to Big Bear. Now that Keith's over in Moreno Valley, we crashed his place the night before and had a short drive up to Big Bear the next day. Crowded as usual and the lack of recent snow meant some of the runs were closed, including Six Shooter, but we still got our skiing/boarding fix in.
Unfortunately skiing/boarding again also restarted the craving to do more skiing/boarding. In a really, really bad way. Anyone want to go soon? I don't think I can wait for President's Day!
We did end up helping out some random people at Big Bear, which was cool. Their friends sure weren't. o_O
