Birthdays... take 4? 5? 6? Birthdays are a great excuse to party, but I think I've been partying since May... I'm starting to get a little tired now. =) The original plan was to go to Wood Ranch over at The Grove. For some reason or another that didn't happen. I got a phone call one hour before dinner was scheduled. I quote Billy: "We're going to Chilis in Westwood at 7:30. Wood Ranch got problems." So... off to Chili's we went. Into Chilis, up the stairs, to the back corner where we occupied both booths and all the tables. Not bad. =) The only real issue we had was slow service. The wait staff looked a little overwhelmed as we hammered them with 20 orders at once. Things were smooth albiet slow, and amazingly we had enough seating for everyone once we dragged another table over. heh heh heh. Birthday celebrations were a little disorganized as we tried to sing multiple times for both Kim and Cheston, which didn't work so well. Instead we moved straight on to food and presents. Cheston's gifts were pretty cool, as you can see below. Although Kim's taste in presents... Cheston says he's gonna get her back for that. Gifts for Kim, OTOH, were quite a bit more, uh, normal... Not much happened afterwards, unfortunately. It was a Sunday night, after all, with work in the morning. We did manage to round up almost everyone outside and take a few pictures. My camera doesn't do so well in low light, but Viet's pictures should have turned out pretty good. Oh, the last picture on the drive home was a funny sighting. =P No relation at all to the party.
