Erik's Visit
Erik had spring break at the end of April, and he chose to spend it down here in Los Angeles.
The pictures present are from several different days of his trip... BBQing watching the Lakers, just hanging out, the big party on Friday night, a fundraising party we attended in Beverly Hills, and Erik's departure on Sunday.
The first two pictures are watching the Lakers on Tuesday night... Ravi (Nick and Pete's neighbor) invited friends over. Four turned into eight...? No matter- it was a lot of people!
The third picture is just hanging out the next day...
The next big blob of pictures is from the party on Friday night. It was a frickin' big one... Ravi's friends, Mike's friends, Sarah and her sister, Jason was there, Margaret and her roommates, Viet and Maggie and their friends, we even got Kim to show up! It was very nicely packed, and a lot of fun! As usual, people drifted in and out, and Nick passed out a little on the early side, but that's nothing new!
I don't know quite how much alcohol was purchased, but people brought in an 18 pack and some other stuff ("Beyond Vodka" is actually a pretty good vodka!), and I know we had a refrigerator full of beer to start with, which is quite a lot! By the end of the night, almost everything was gone. Wow.
The third to last picture is from Ravi's parents' house, at the fundraising party for a Republican candidate for governor in Louisana. Beautiful house, very nice party... I just don't go to events like it. Met more of Ravi's friends as well as his parents... and oh yes, the valet lost my keys. Grrrr...
