After-Tax Day Potluck
Time for the quarterly potluck over at Sophia, Carley, Grace, and Tara's place again.
A few notes, first:
- I was late as usual. I evidently missed Tara and some others. Oops! That's why there are no pictures of them!
- About a half-dozen pictures were out of focus. No, I don't know why. (gee, when the AF! symbol is blinking, maybe I should start paying attention to it!) They're not posted. Neither are the movies.
- Yes, fullsize 3MP (2048x1536, 15:1 JPEG) images are available, but they're not posted either. E-mail me if you would like to see 'em.
Smaller crowd this time than others; Eric, Mike, and some others who generally show up to these parties weren't here, without the Latino duo along with some other frequent partygoers, things felt different.
Some new faces too. Next to Sophia in the back... Diana, Angela, Adrienne, then Thomas on the bottom right. This is after Danielle and Justin took off, as well as Petula.
The normal routine of fun, games, and food was still around, though! Plenty of food, enough Fanta soda for a small army, and of course, Taboo was played and much fun was had by just about everyone. Guys vs. Girls this time (again? I forget...). Unfortunately for the guys, I think at least half the girls present own Taboo, while us guys lacked such an advantage... Sophia and Carley play enough Taboo to be darned good at it, and sheesh, remind me not to play against Diana! This was nothing like the semi-intoxicated game of Taboo we played at Constant's birthday, with 20+ people who'd never played together before... instead of the score bouncing between sides, guys vs. girls resulted in the guys losing 53-39!
Pretty short night otherwise-- although I think I artifically shortened my night by arriving at almost 9pm. Oops!
Hopefully there will be at least one more potluck before the quarter's over... we'll see!
