TMNT Pizzeria
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizzeria in Santa Monica is apparently the first official TMNT-branded one, and to my surprise, it actually does live up to the name. It's a bit too loud inside with the concrete walls, small children, and the 90s and 2000s techno, but the decor is mostly on-point and entirely appropriate, all the way down into the bathroom hallway. The pizza could have been awful if they had wanted to trade solely on the name, but in reality it's actually not too bad. There is much better pizza to be had in the area, but you obviously are here for the experience, and getting edible food for only a slight premium is just a plus.
Stopped by Chagee's new location at Westfield Culver City on the way back; the milk tea there is just as good as the previous locations, although the ambiance of what was formerly known as Fox Hills Mall doesn't quite match up to the Westfield Century City location. Seating is markedly worse as well, although honestly, you can make do in a pinch.
