Fooding
I have very mixed feelings after trying a few local Italian markets for sandwiches. Guessing that's because of expectations from places like Bay Cities Italian Deli, which are top-notch with them. Roma Market was more like an average Italian market, way smaller than Bay Cities, and the sandwiches were, while tasty with good quality meat and bread, otherwise quite plain.
Took our sandwiches to the nearby HOJI Tea Community, where both the fruit teas as well as the Kyoto black milk tea were pretty good, although the boba was kind of hard in the middle, and hence a bit of a let down. Christina, Stanley, and Rebecca all seemed to enjoy their fruit teas at least. They had ample seating tho, and since we'd all bought drinks, they didn't seem to mind that we ate our sandwiches there. Plus they share a tiny parking lot with Afters Ice Cream, and there's ample street parking within a block or two-- although beware of high curbs and door sills.
