Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong
More kbbq, this time at a new (to me) location of Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong in Torrance.
The scrambled egg and cheese corn in the side is customary for these guys, and the small beef plate (brisket, galbi, marinated galbi) was excellent. Not cheap, but quite good. Attention to detail shows in the different cooking grates used, too. The bean paste soup wasn't bad either, completely with both beef and seafood.
Two unexpected touches: the range hoods are adjustable so they can suck the smoke just a foot away from your meat on the grill, and they do a surprisingly good job cooking for you. Glad the extra cost goes into the service!
