U2: iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE
Two nights in a row of U2! Hey, we're cutting back, this was technically U2's fourth show in LA (er, Inglewood, at The Forum) on this tour...
Bono seemed to bask much more in the glow of the crowd tonight, and in exchange the crowd was much more into it than the previous night. t'was obvious from both the floor as well as from seats-- Pearl got so excited she almost flew over the railing (!). The setlist also seemed better; some small tweaks made a big difference. Angel of Harlem, When Love Comes to Town, and All I Want Is You (tour debut) plus With or Without You seemed to react well with the crowd the second half-- beautiful flow!
Some are huge fans of ending with 40, I enjoy it once in a while-- so to hear it once on this tour was pretty amazing, to hear different songs on different days was also nice. Matt and I hung near the rear stage the entire night (vs. wandering all over with Pearl the day before), which was nice as we were able to get super close.
Saturday was awesome to have U2 back, today was pretty awesome, period!
Also, a few videos are up well.
