Andrew and TiffA
Started the morning off with a quick run and then an early lunch at Hometown Noodle with Mike and family, along with Joe's girlfriend Lulu. Some excellent noodles (both intestine and beef) and appetizers, with the tripe being particularly good.
Everyone got cleaned up, then it was off to Holy Cross Parish for Andrew and TiffA's big day. The borrowed priest had a fitting sense of humor for their borrowed church, everyone had a great time, and as always, Andrew had some great expressions in his excitement.
We all lingered for photos before moseying over to the Los Altos History Museum and the adjacent Enchante Boutique Hotel for the reception. A warm day turned into a beautiful evening under the trees, adults, kids, and dogs alike enjoying themselves with the DJ, photo booth, and of course, the Boba Guys!
Food started with three kinds of appetizers, including veggie spring rolls and a shrimp tempura roll. Dinner lead off with a tasty Beijing duck and then a seafood soup that we wished we could have more of. Pecan prawns were a nice change from the classic walnut prawns. Many more dishes followed: scallop and crab lotus leaf fried rice, shaken beef, and of course, lobster! Miso seabass and then piggy-shaped custard buns wrapped up the food, not that we needed to eat any more!
Somewhere in there were speeches, toasts, cake-cutting, an enthusiastic bouquet toss, and for a few guests, far too many libations. *grins*
Congratulations, Trandrew and TiffA!
