Cleveland
Starting the day with a bagel sandwich and pierogis, then off to the Cleveland Museum of Art. Aka fat, salt, and carbs to start the day (nom!), then a surprisingly good collection of European armor. They had a visiting Shinto exhibit as well that was pretty unique, which made it worth the trip.
A rather indifferent dinner at Trattoria Roman Garden that night, plus board games.
The next day, Larder Delicatessen. One of Cleveland's new hip places, located in an old fire house. Sandwiches were pretty good, vegetables (pickled bok choy, beets) were a bit too overwhelming. Then it was time to explore downtown, taking in the sights such as the Terminal Building and the Sailors and Soldiers Monument. Cherry blossoms are still in bloom here too-- both downtown as well as yesterday in Tremont.
Finally, some pretty decent Thai for dinner, plus a second night of board games. Lords of Waterdeep is pretty good for a medium-weight game, with characters, mini-quests, and roles. Not sure the theme and style appeal to everyone, but it's a classic part of the D&D world!
