Picked up pi for Pi Day at work at Marie Callendar's (banana cream and apple), then randomly realized there was pizza as a dinner option later that night at Staples. Always glad to spread the love for Pi Day!
Lorde then put on a great show at Staples. Wasn't quite sure what to expect, but she had a subdued opening with Sober that made everyone comfortable, then she progressively cranked up the energy. Doing Tennis Court early was great, and the shift back to slow with the story behind Writer in the Dark was unexpectedly touching. To my surprise, Royals wasn't the finale-- instead, it was Team. She threw in a few covers too, just to keep things mixed up.
Top it off with confetti, and it was a great show all around! And all the better that it was on Pi Day!
