Long Beach Marathon
Pretty good Cambodian food at Phnom Penh Noodle in Long Beach. I lack experience with Cambodian food so hard to say if it was good or great, or heck, even if I was eating it right. The #1 house special served with soup on the side left an excellent impression, starting with the beef bone left in the broth... mmmm.
Had a wait even at 11:40am, but it wasn't too bad, and was definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Typical Long Beach Marathon Expo after. Usual crowd and vendors, although more people than usual were converting their registrations from the full to the half marathon due to the heat wave going on-- ended up being 74F (!) the morning of the race and 86F by 9am or so. Painful.
