Surprisingly smooth drive through Friday rush-hour traffic with Cousin Tyler and his friends Curtis and Cameron, an even bigger surprise at Half and Half with (virtually) no line (!!) for milk tea, and then off to Tasty Garden just up the road for dinner.
Christine, her friend Paul, and I hung out at one end of the table so the youngin's could do their thing. Beef chow mein and the filet mignon were both quite good, the rest was average at best. That said, the pork and preserved egg jook was very generous so no complaints, and I imagine if we'd gotten to the beef and noodle pot while it was fresh it would've been very good.
Good times all around!
