Geography lunch at Bachi Burger. Fancy waygu beef plus tons of equally fancy toppings meant for a burger that was a bit overwhelming-- eggs, deep friend onion bits, carmelized bacon, etc. are all great, but together it was a bit much for a first trip. Might have to stick to a more basic burger the next time to really see how the waygu beef is.
Ox-tail fries were underwhelming, ox-tail is a delicate meat without a lot of flavor that got a bit lost in the fries, although the bacon brussel sprouts were superb. Pork belly bun was in-between, was good quality, definitely above the usual, but significantly inferior to the very best I've had (such as Momofuku Noodle Bar). It had the portions of meat and fat about right but the awesomeness didn't quite get included.
