Post long-run lunch at Pho Show in Culver City. They've expanded into the space next door since I've last been, added a bar with a nice selection of beer and wine, and generally gotten a lot more upscale.
Food is still just ok. Seafood egg rolls are pretty good, nem nuong spring rolls are too much lettuce, not enough flavor, and the pho is pretty average, at best. That said, just ok pho broth and cuts of meat are pretty hard to find on the westside, so this'll work just fine. No tripe in the combo pho makes me a sad panda, though.
Add in the house craft beer and we were pretty happy-- that was one big meal after a nice long run! (and I think our waitress got a good laugh behind our backs, 'cause we were so sore from the run, we could barely stand up after lunch was over!).
