UCLA vs. Utah
All the other stuff we did on Space Shuttle Endeavour's moving weekend: brunch at Uncle Bill's Pancake House after spending the morning watching Endeavour, then day 2's other activities: UCLA vs. Utah, Half and Half for pearl tea, and a midnight snack at BCD Tofu House.
The Expo `73 omelette at Uncle Bill's Pancake House is a little too crazy for me, the taste of ground beef just doesn't do anything for me. The food is pretty darned good otherwise, as was the view the rest of the day.
UCLA vs. Utah at the Rose Bowl the next day. It wasn't exactly a drubbing, but UCLA maintained control the whole game and beat Utah 21-14. Our kicker still needs work, tho, as he blows at least one field goal a game. Ugh, and the offense... score? More? Please?? Stopped by Half & Half afterwards, where they held our drinks hostage for an unnecessarily long time-- they sat on the counter unloved for what seemed like an eternity.
Finished off the evening by heading down to California Science Center and then Crenshaw/MLK Jr. Blvd to see Space Shuttle Endeavour again. In the excitement we forgot to eat dinner, which lead to a midnight snack at BCD Tofu House. Yum!
Not that I'm complaing; UCLA victory, two beautiful days, and got to see Space Shuttle Endeavour not once, but twice, on its journey across Los Angeles! *grins*
