Saturday night
Long day running around turns into stopping at Sion's Mexican for dinner (food was just average) in Manhattan Beach, then packed off to downtown to head to Library Bar and Seven Grand to meet up with Tiffany and her friends.
Library Bar was small(ish) and quaint, like an actual library, but with an ample bar. Not much in the way of seating or gathering areas for groups, though. Found Cesar, Tiffany, one or two others...
Then as we left to head over to Seven Grand, Tiffany and Cesar end up herding the rest of their friends out, and holy effin' crap, there were another dozen in the group scattered throughout the place. Crazy. So not good for HUGE groups... Seven Grand handled our huge group better, but the bar was so slow (45 minutes or an hour to get our drinks) that that too left us displeased.
After most of us resigned ourselves to only one drink (aka, not getting back in the bar again, no matter how varied the scotch menu is, or how good the punch and the whisky sours are!), it was a good time, and we continued over at Hodori for late-night Korean food. Nom nom nom on everything, including the galbi jim. (which seemed a little different compared to other galbi jim I've had, but it was 2:30am and it was tasty, so who cared?! *grins*)
