Christmas time with family and friends. Rode back up with Barry for the long weekend.
First order of business turned out to be getting ahold of the long lost, mysteriously absent Alice. Woohoo! Turns out she's doing well... just working too much. (hmm, sound like a familiar story?)
The night of Christmas Eve was dinner at home, then the standard desserts at the Melins, with the Yee's, the Wheeler's, and whoever else Sherman could drag in. Katie's enjoying her first year as an Oregon Duck, or so it seems to us, at least. Many, many new toys were hidden under wrapping paper under the Melin's traditional 10' tall live Christmas tree. And amazingly, Sherman did not steal (very much) food...
Christmas Day itself was fairly quiet at home, then dinner with the Melins. Good times. Sherman even got a bath that afternoon, so we let him stay inside the house all day.
Sunday came... Barry and I hopped back inside his meat tenderizer, er, Evo8, and spent 7 hours driving back to Los Angeles...
