The partygoers gather at Apartment 306 again. Tara and Sophia no longer live there, but that didn't seem to faze anyone, even the new roommates at 306!
Well, ok, everyone there knew each other pretty much, so maybe it wasn't quite that simple. =þ
It rained that day, and rain tends to render Los Angeles drivers into a bunch of incompetent nimrods causing accidents everywhere, so lots of people arrived late, including Payal (sp?), Joycelyn, Sophia, Scott, and I. We all arrived wet, discarded our umbrellas and shoes, then immediately set upon the bounty of food available (another hallmark of these potlucks). Yummy!
Entertainment of the night was mostly a rather crazy game of Cranium, upon which Joycelin, Bej, Chris and I distinguished ourselves with a stunning last place finish. (otherwise known as "do not draw a green card...) Chris and Bej were way too freakin' loud as usual, both in voice as well as costume (a cardboard box and Superman, respectively). Hey, keeps things interesting! Carley was the Tooth Fairy, we had a pair of ghosts, Alice (?) was a bananna slug- I think, we had a few Neo's from The Matrix, Tara was an 80's girl, Sophia was a cat, Scott was a surfboarder attacked by a shark, etc.
(for what it's worth, fashionable 80's clothing is really quite frightening. =þ And no one figured out Sophia was a cat on the first try!)
On a parting note, most people there were now college graduates, and man, it's depressing when we talk about work instead of classes!
