Congrats, Joe!
Congratulations to Joe and Nikole on their engagement!
wow... looks like my track record of one friend getting married per year is holding for a third year in a row...
(sorry, I'd say more, but I'm too tired to think any more heavy thoughts...)

Updates!
Los Angeles Auto Show pictures... 145 new ones.
Dinner with Sophia, Carley, Grace, and two of their friends (Doug and Donna) over the weekend. Pssst! Doug and Sophia, I know you both have pictures, if you would share, that would be appreciated!

Patience
Normally I don't think I'm too bad with patience.
Except for when basic necessities (as per Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs or something similiar) are in danger, it just isn't too big of an issue.
Lately, though, it doesn't feel that way about one or two issues. Maybe it's a cumulation of the last 3 months or year or whatever, but it bugs me. The good thing is, hopefully these issues will be resolved reasonably soon. I just feel as though my patience really shouldn't be wearing thin so soon, but it is...

New stuff. LA Auto Show, Tara's Birthday...
This announcement is tardy by about four days, but that's life.
2005 Los Angeles Auto Show pics are up.
Tara's birthday pics are up.
Plus some random stuff. Sam sent over the new Erasure single, Breathe, and it arrived recently. WOOHOO! (pic 1, pic 2, pic 3, pic 4, pic 5) Thanks Sam! Then a shot of the rain we've been having. Notice the red little monster of terror in front. ;) The last two pics are random stuff from rock climbing over at UCLA recently.

Wet
Of course, if you live in California, you probably didn't need me to tell you that right now.
One thing that seems to be lacking around here is the ability to handle storms. My little commute to work should not involve any streets-turning-into-rivers, parking-lots-that-are-lakes, or any other special driving trickery. Instead, the four-lane street to work is now roughly two-and-a-half lanes, and the parking lot of the restaurant I had lunch in is beginning to overflow with mud because they didn't make any effort to drain the hill next to it.
Sheesh. Maybe I'll post more thoughts later, but right now I'm too busy griping about how wet it is.

Happy New Year!
New Year's Eve pictures are up, of course... =)
So busy lately. Maybe a more comprehensive, thoughtful update in a day or three. I still have Christmas cards to write. o_O
