Playing all weekend...

... means I'm awfully tired when I come to work the following Monday. *groan*

Seeing Cheston, Viet, Billy, Maggie, Barry, Kim, and everyone was good and all, as was the sushi dinner at Midori in Sherman Oaks (yummay!), as was partying a little tiny bit on Sunday night with Jason, Bernier, Barry, Mike, and Kim at a Lambda Phi Epsilon party that night. Saw Pearl and Jer too, which a rare event indeed. Much thanks to Billy as well, for loaning me his extra car while mine's in the shop for a heart transplant.

After all that excitement, I'm just tired. Watching those college students starting rounds of shots at 8pm (sh*t, I can't do that anymore, I have work the next morning!) made me feel kinda old too. =P

Argh.

Stuff breaking for no good reason... annoying.

$95 down the drain... irritating.

Having to live without music for 3~4 days in my car... very sad. =(

Random tests...

Found originally on Carol's blog... 20 Questions to a Better Relationship. (edit: found this on Alice's xanga too)

Results here:
eXpressive: 6/10
Practical: 7/10
Physical: 4/10
Giver: 6/10

You are a XPIG--Expressive Practical Intellectual Giver. This makes you a Catch.

You are a magazine-cover, matinee idol dreamboat. Parents love you and want to set you up with their kids. However, first dates are tough because it takes time for your qualities to come out.

You are generous and kind. You think first and act later. You are cool in a conflict, but your practical side means if your partner throws out emotional appeals ("why can't we do what I want for a change?") they will grate on your nerves, even when the conflict is resolved.

You're a romantic. You enjoy the thrill of the hunt, and you don't just fall into bed with anyone. You pay close attention to your significant other's needs, and this makes you an excellent lover and partner. The problem is that your friends and lovers may find it so easy to express things to *you* that they lose sight of whether you feel as comfortable with *them*! This doesn't necessarily make you feel under-appreciated -- you're too well-adjusted and self-aware for that -- but you may feel restless. Thus you seek adventure in your life outside the relationship to prove and actualize yourself.

Of all the types, you would make the best parent.

You are coiffed.

Didja see "Big Fish"? 'Cause you're like Ewan MacGregor in "Big Fish."

Of the 95645 people who have taken this quiz, 9 % are this type.

Upgrades.

Moveabletype has been upgraded from 2.66 to 3.1, and Moveabletype Blacklist (MT-Blacklist) has been installed. Hopefully this will resolve the comment spam problems I've been having. Combined with dynamic publishing (finally!), this should make life a lot easier WRT blogging.

Pearl and other MT users, have you upgraded yet?

Updates that I promised last week...

Dim sum and Labor Day weekend pics are finally up.

They've actually been up for a few days, I was just too busy to finish the index files.

Random stuff

BMW M5 first drive at Edmunds. MMMMMM. Still ugly and still no proper gearbox, but maaaaaan... it's fast enough to outrun its own ugliness, and that's saying a lot!

Saw Alien vs. Predator today. I knew it was sucky, so I had low expectations-- just blood and guts please. Even then, it still sucked. Sigh. And the scenery at the mall where the AMC was wasn't good enough to make up for the movie sucking. Oh well.
