Mario Brothers

Amy found this...

Part one. Part two. Part three.

As she said very eloquently, "ai.. where's part four???" It's so clever... so good!!!

Some very late pictures...

Theresa and Jason's wedding pics are up. Finally. I know, I know. Still, enjoy, if you so choose...

And some pics from October... Joel's going away dinner.

Move in progress...

Expect some downtime over the next 24-36 hours. Sorry if that keeps you from reaching the ski trip pics... my host is doing a server move.

June Mountain pics

June Mountain pictures from this weekend's trip. Nice little resort!

And a webgame from Kevin... Crimson Room. Fun, hard til you figure out how it behaves, then pretty easy. Dave dropped a pair of critical clues for me so I was able to get through in 30 minutes or so!

Urges you know you can't fill.

Couple of them this time around.

First was sparked by the ski trip a few weekends ago. I've been fiending to go again-- and indeed I will be going again this weekend-- but both of the past two weekends I've really wanted to go and haven't been able to!

Second is to go travel. England was my next planned destination, but I've had some work-inflicted changes on my summer plans and I don't think that's going to happen. Looks like short of quitting, getting the week off I know I'd need just isn't going to be possible in the current environment at work.

Third is because of a thread on Ars about lap times and the Mitsubishi Evo8, BMW M5, etc. I really, really want to make another track day at Willow Springs or Buttonwillow... and I will. But not quite yet.

So much fun stuff to do. I'm getting impatient waiting for all of the pieces to fall into place!

addendum: Fixing some of the CSS on my site. The front page should look more finished now. I still haven't edited the comments CSS... but heck, some progress at last, right?

Visited States? Countries?

Originally posted on Ars, then again on Pearl's site... create your own country visited map.

Pearl's saying she's not really well traveled... I don't know what she's saying, I'm even less well traveled! I won't even post my countries-visited map, it's just too pathetic...

Oy.

Guess I won't be going to grad school this fall.

(considering how stacked the odds were in favor of my application... I really gotta wonder how the rest of my friends who applied to law school and whatnot survived the whole graduate admissions process... ouch...)

Fortunately, going to grad school wasn't my idea to begin with, so it just means that instead of grad school this fall, I'll have to see if I can find a better job instead. =)
